El senyor Scrooge és un home avar i solitari. No pot suportar el Nadal i tot el que significa: trobades familiars, regals, festes... Però aquest any unes visites inesperades la vigília de Nadal li faran obrir els ulls i l'invitaran a canviar d'actitud.
